SWEAT Urban Squash

The Inukai Family Foundation is proud to award a grant to SWEAT Urban Squash of Portland, Oregon.  SWEAT partners with non-profits that serve low income communities. In Washington County, SWEAT works with Inukai Boys and Girls Club to provide free coaching in exercise, nutrition, and active lifestyles to 10-18 year-olds.

The Inukai Family Foundation is proud to award a $1500 grant to Lake Hazel Middle School of Boise, Idaho. This grant funds part of a technology improvement project in the school that will modernize 6th grade classrooms with a smartboard.  Approximately 90 students and teachers will use the smartboard throughout the year for classroom instruction.

The Inukai Family Foundation is proud to award a $1000 grant to Highland Park Middle School of Beaverton, Oregon.

Highland Park Middle School is a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) school and its library has seen drastic cuts due to budget reduction measures. This grant helps fund a project to acquire new, non-fiction texts for the library, which are required to support Common Core instruction.
